The government of Karnataka will assist farmers in their efforts to combat climate change

Agriculture Minister of Karnataka formally inaugurated the Agricultural Fair at University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad.

He said the Karnataka government is planning to provide diesel subsidy to farmers who use tractors

Agriculture Minister emphasized that farmers could launch their own businesses and make farming a lucrative industry.

He advised the use of modern technology to increase the income of the farmers.

Farmers with up to five acres of land will get a subsidy of Rs 25 per liter for 10 liters of diesel.

He said, the government is subsidizing agricultural universities and their research facilities.

State-wide agricultural institutions are creating new crop kinds and upgraded farm machinery
